We Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating,
and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Episcopal Church of Minnesota (ECMN) is a diocese of The Episcopal Church, USA. ECMN has been in existence for over 150 years.
We are an Episcopal Church. This means we are under the guidance of a Bishop and a denomination. This is important to us, it grounds us in our Anglican tradition, and reminds us that we are part of bigger family of God.
"Were following Jesus into loving, liberating and life-giving relationships with God, with each other and with the earth" - Presiding Bishop Michael Curry.
Founded in 1780, following the revolutionary war, The Episcopal Church is a community of 120 dioceses in the United States and abroad. We are part of a big family with a long history. The Episcopal Church give us access to ministries all over the world. If there is something you are passionate about chances are you'll find it through The Episcopal Church.
Today the Anglican Communion is 38 autonomous national and regional Churches plus 6 extra Provincial Churches and dioceses; all of which are in Communion - in a reciprocal relationship - with the Archbishop of Canterbury who is the Communion's spiritual head. We are part of a global movement of God. This affords us relationships with Christians around the world.
Our mission is to honor the truth, goodness, and beauty through Word and Sacrament.
